I was seen as a human being.

My experience at the Pelvic Pain Clinic

From the very first moment I walked into the Pelvic Pain Clinic, I felt something I had hardly ever experienced in mainstream healthcare. I was seen as a human being. Not as a file, not as a category, not as a protocol. But truly as someone with a story, with pain, with hope, and with sadness.

What makes this place so special to me is that they are not 100% committed to you, but 1000%. They really listen, with attention, understanding, and patience. They take your complaints seriously, even if other healthcare providers dismiss them as complicated, unclear, or too complex. Here, you are not limited by protocols or a standard step-by-step plan. Here, they look at you as a whole, at what you feel and at what your body shows.

I have never felt so heard and supported anywhere else as I do with them. Every time, they take the time, think along with me, continue to search, and make me feel that I am not alone in this process. That makes a world of difference, especially when you have been dealing with pain and disappointment for so long.

For me, the Pelvic Pain Clinic is one of the few places where I feel a glimmer of hope again. Where I feel that I am being listened to, where my complaints are taken seriously, and where care is truly care.

I am incredibly grateful to them for that.
